It’s July currently, and there are several sidewalks I pass by that are not swept from the dirt left behind from the winter snow fall.
I thought that there were EPA requirements for dust abatement that included minimizing dust and particulates left from snow/ice clearing during the winter.
Sidewalk clearing should be maintained if they have dirt left on them from winter snowfall.

I’m pretty sure that the newer crosswalks with the wide bars in them are more visible and have possibly have cut down on pedestrian accidents/fatalities, BUT, have there been studies tracking the accidents and the results of those accidents from bicycles and motorcycles that have slipped on the wider bars when they’re wet, possibly CAUSING more accidents than the traditional 2 stripe crosswalks?
